Northeast Ohio Dance presents The Nutcracker

This season, we’re honored to bring Patricia and Leif Lorenz’s beloved Ballet Americana Party Scene and Battle Scene to the NEOD stage.  These scenes have captivated audiences for decades, and our dancers are thrilled to perform the version that has inspired so many to fall in love with ballet! 

With fresh touches from Artistic Director, Megan Stuart and NEOD’s own Kim Sulek—our Jazz and Tap master and director of Dance Kraze at NEOD—this year’s Nutcracker will feature newly reimagined choreography for dolls, Snow, and Act 2. 

We’re also grateful to Christie Taras, talented costume designer and mom of two NEOD dancers, who has volunteered countless hours crafting stunning costumes. Each piece is designed with the utmost care, adding even more beauty to this holiday classic.
