In 1858, the first of six generations of Richardsons became plant and vegetable growers. Richardson’s is a fully-working farm that raises crops including: corn (both sweet and Indian), pumpkins, soybeans and gourds. The greenhouse is stocked with locally-grown plants and herbs and they grow vegetables and fruit for the stand, which also features many locally-produced products. The orchard allows you to pick your own apples and peaches in the fall and offers a large pumpkin patch as well. No farm is complete without the animals so feel free to visit cows, chickens, turkeys and pigs!
